My Journey to Nagarhole Forest Karnataka
Day 1 Journey to Nagarhole ForestIt was around 12:00 p.m in the afternoon we started our Journey to Nagarhole it was a hot Climate we have to Be in Nagarhole Before 2:30 P.m for a Final Safari @ 3:00 P.m. so we Left Home around 12:00 P.m we Came to Ring Road and Connected to HD. Kote we are Visiting Kabini Side " Appearance of Animals at the Evening is More " so it Depends on Luck and Time of Journey we Really had a Cool Traffic Condition in Hot weather and not Much of Heat wonderful View we got Near HD. Kote Road we got the View of Wayanad Hills so it was an amazing View Nagarhole Forest is Located around 85km From Mysore and 220Km From Banglore if u are Visting Nagarhole Kabini Side so u have to Reach one Hour Before to Nagarhole Safari Center to Get Tickets for Morning and Evening Safari ..." the Roads were Curve and Medium " Overtaking was a key issue but somehow we managed and after reaching 80km due to Sunlight Falling on glass " Sudden Brake By My Uncle " Opposite was Dog just Few Meters Before we stopped Our car and Dog just passed through Other side of Road it really had a Narrow Escape after this Incident we Finally Reached Reached Nagarhole Safari Gate @ 2:00 p.m were parked our Car in front of Gate and the View was Like This.
@ Nagarhole National Park Kabini Side ...wonderful Place Very Well maintained surrounded By Forest...
we were waiting in queue for 25mins....and people were moving slowly " In the Meantime, I and My sister meet a new Friends " Stray Dog which was Sleeping near to our Leg while standing in the queue ... they were so Cute and Love them when we Smooth their Head they would Come even Closer and we were Disturbing those two dogs Sleep and Minutes Passed By at around 2:25 P.m we were issued the Tickets for Last Man in the Bus so that's Sold out to us and we Left the Ticket Room and Went to RestRooms and washed our Hands and 2:35 P.m we had Self Made Food From Home "Fresh and Hot Bath Prepared by our Aunty " we were eating the Food Fast that we did Properly Feel the Taste Due to Time for Safari was about to start " i and My sister "Fed our Remaining Food to The two Stray Dogs " while Sleeping they were One when it Comes to Food " The Real Fight Started Between Two dogs and we Fed Each of Them Separate and we Climbed the Bus around 2:50 P.m and safari Bus Started to Move one By one our Bus was the last to leave @ 3:00 P.m so Drive Bro took a Reverse and then took a U turn and our Safari Begain....to Forest and nearly 5minutes to entry " on the Left side " Inside Forest first we Crossed the Check Post and Next after Crossing CheckPost we entered the Forest Beautiful From Start the View was Like this from the Moving Bus Beautiful Trees with Bird sounds Everywhere u need to be silent onces u enter Forest area bcoz the Atmosphere is Different in Forest area.. so we have to Maintain A complete Silence and not even a small sound ... so u have to keep this Note in Mind ...
after this Point the Bumpy Ride Started and we were Shaking " Backseat i thought ok Will get Wonderful View but Behind that was Bumpy Ride but somehow we Managed i was holding Phone Tightly in My hands and after 5minutes we Reached another Dry Area we Spotted small dear " our First animal during safari " they were eating grass near the Fallen Tree we Stopped for 1 Minute got some Photo and Moved on the Dear were so Beautiful and they were seeing Our Bus until it Crossed the Roads...
and we Next Reached the Center of Forest we saw some Cottage/Resorts and Forest Officials Rooms sometimes Checking Happens during Morning time and again Bus took Left-hand Side of Road " Moving in Deep Forest 2km To Reach Deep Forest " we were Moving as per Protocol from Previous Buses they said we Spotted Tiger near a Lake so Driver Bro with Speed Was Taking us to the Spot " Ups and Downs we were Shaking " the Bumpy Ride " Oh My God feel like Flying From Windows Space the Effect was Like That " we were Shaking for Few Minutes and Minutes Passed By we saw a water source from Both side of Road in Between we have to Move to Other Side of Forest " We Stopped For Minutes " Bus from other side and Safari Jeep was Coming so we gave Space and by waiting in side at around 3:30 P.m we entered to An Area where there were water source and Tiger Tower so officials in Bus say these is the Spot were Tiger is seen at Maximum Number of Times we waited ......
Observing for Tiger appearances waited For Few Minutes With Silence and Patience But there only Bird Sounds and No Tiger appearances Still... Due to Heat it would Come to Drink Water...
But the Place was Like Silence and Anytime the Tiger Appearances would be Visible so it was a Badluck for Us it did Come...
so we Moved on in Straight Road where I could see two to Three ways to Route to Inner Forest after u Cross The CheckPost the View Silence and no sound except Bus Sound in CheckPost one have to Open Gate and after bus Crosses he have to Close the Check Post so one official Open the Gate and after Bus Passed he Closed the Check post the View of Forest Roads there are Lots of Various Entry and Exit Point for this Forest...
The View was Like this Behind full of Dry Trees and Mud paths so the gap was Given before Paths and the View was amazing and minutes Pass By after Crossing this CheckPost we went to Other Side of the Forest nearly around 1km the Mud Road we spotted a Hi Tension Poles and Inbetween the Forest Road and at the End of The Road we Spotted " Monkeys and Lagoons " sitting on a Fallen Tree they were around 5 to 6 in Numbers and were together when the Sound of Bus Heard they Started Running towards the Forest and some were sitting on the Barks of Tree...
so the Dust Practicals were Flying Up the with Vehicles Pressure so some Dust went inside my eyes " Few Movements Later we entered Near the Bridge and Stop we saw Elephant around 300Meters the View was Visible near the Lake which was Lefthand Side of the Bridge " Complete Silence in the Bus " Elephant was Playing in Water " Huge Sounds of Elephants " they were More 2 to 3 Elephants Playing In the water the View was Like this...
at First, we Saw a Beautiful Young Wild elephant standing in Front and within Few Movements, another 2 Elephants Joined with him and these all elephants were Young and Beautiful had Huge Horns and were Screaming "Loudly we were Observing The Playing Scene was Beautiful...and Few Movements Later another one which was in the Center of the Lake came Up Climbing the Rock so it was wonderful to watch ...in front of them we were Standing Still Like Tree no Movements Complete Silence "on the Right Side is Forest "Surrounded By Trees...Complete Silence ....few Movements Passed by they Played and they walked away Through water and Crossed other Side of Forest the Noise was Huge " Maybe the Mother Elephant was Hiding Behind the Tree it seems we didn't Get the View Clearly but the Size was Huge its Body Appearances showed the Movements Behind the Tree...
at around 5:15 P.m we started Moving we stopped Here for 25minutes so Had some Fun in Watching Elephants Playing in Lake wonderful Scene and Awesome after the Bridge we were on the way to Highway were a Cute Baby Elephant was Standing alone Near Sign Board and was eating Grass after the Turning so it was small and Young Cute Elephant....
so we stopped for 1 Minute to Get the View but Unfortunately, We Didn't Get the Leaf of Tree was Hiding his Face.... but it was Very Close to the Safari Truck and Seems to be Friendly but was a Wonderful Sight where it was Close to Highway...the View of Highway was Like this...it Took this View from Window with Portrait View so Road Goes Between Forest on Both The sides few Movements Later" Sudden Stop " Deer within Seconds Crossed other Side and in Bumpy Sudden Brake Really Shaked us More...
Entering Forest Another side
I think this Route Goes to Kerala Broder it seems bcoz the Sign Board were Written in Malayalam which is Seems Like Rare Route to Mysore From Kerala its seems Bcoz there was another CheckPost " We Spotted a Group of Deer " Near CheckPost so it was around 17:30 p.m in Evening while Coming to almost Near to Highway Before Cutting Left we saw a Huge Wild Elephants Standing Behind Tree with Huge Horns "Scene was Scary it was a Lonely Elephant Standing Behind a Huge Tree..." we don't Know it was Seeing Road " it was Ready to Attack Van anytime " Driver Bro was Moving Slowly "Luckily we Crossed the Place and For few seconds we were Scared bcoz Lonely Elephant may attack u any time so Becareful...
Day 2 Journey to Nagarhole
After Day 1 of our Journey to Nagarhole @ Afternoon Safari, we decided to go in the Morning Safari @ 6:30 to 9:00 we Left home the Next Day Morning @ 5:00 A.m Early Morning our Day 2 Journey to Nagarhole We Reached around 6:00 a.m and we got Tickets early and we started to Climb the Bus around 6:30 a.m we Got Sitting in Center so we were onto the Forest "...
the First View of the Day Started with a Beautiful Peacock which was Found Sitting in Tree Bark an amazing one to start the safari the View was Wonderful " we moving Forward after Seeing Peacock the Minutes passed by " we saw a WoodPecker which was not Properly Visible but on Moving past we saw a Black Woodpecker sitting in a Branch of the tree the WoodPecker had a Red Colour on the Top of its Head and Sharp Mouth which made it Look So cute in Morning...
The View of WoodPeacker was so Cute and wonderful Minutes Passed by it was 30Minutes from the Time we Started it was around 7:00 A.m in Morning we stopped Near a Small Pond and " on the Left-Hand Side of My Sister Window Tigers Came to Drink Water " to Quench their Thirst" it was a Tiger with 3Cubs entered the area and they were Playful.
after Few Minutes they Got Disturbed with us Being around. the Sound of Safari Bus Made them to go into Bushes " But the Driver was Smart Enough that they Took us to another end of Bushy area and we were waiting for 10-15 Minutes " And then in that utter silence we heard a Huge Roar we Knew they were Coming to Our side and they did in Few Seconds and we Followed their walk for a While with Constant Roaring " This was Probably the Mother Teaching her Cubs to avoid us...
and then they Crossed the Pathways and went into the Thickness of the Forest.
we Saw a Huge python in the middle of the path which made us stop for 5minutes ....we waited till it passes by and the python was coming From the Leaf and was a huge size but a Beautiful Skin which was Found in some Ups and Down so My sister got a Click of it ...u can see Snake in Between the Leafs python Clicked Before Python was crossing the Path this is the View and after the Break, we Moved around Few Kilometers at around 8:00 a.m we Reached a place where we saw a Beautiful Deer Eating Grass which Turned everyone attention which was eating faster after seeing us ...
Looking at the Deer For Few Seconds and Looking at the Beauty its horns and Colour made us happy a lonely deer which was Spotted Near Dry Leaf area...wonderful Scenes in Just a Few Meters From Deer Position we spotted a Lagoon Sitting at Branch of Tree..
Looking at our Bus ...and his tail was touching our Bus top such a Huge Tail he can Jump from One tree to Another within seconds and faster there are Many Lagoons and Beautiful Birds at Nagarhole and Nagarhole National Park in One of the Largest National Park in the Country where there are a Large Number of WildAnimals Like Elephants, Gaur, Tiger, Blackpanther, Leopard, Deer, and many birds... and it is also one of Largest Forest in India about 642.39Km2(248.03 sqmi) and its Elevation is 960m (3,150ft) which was established in 1988 and Maintained by Government of Karnataka...and around 8:30 P.m we saw a Beautiful "Indian Roller" it is a Karnai State Bird and it was sitting at Tree Branches ... which was so Cute and Whitish Blue and the Sound of the Bird was So sweet...
wonderful Experience we had at day 2 and we are Crossing final CheckPost which is Another Entrance it was around 8:55 a.m we where Near the Parking area our Bus Reached the Safari Entrance at 9:00 a.m so that was the End of Day 2 Where we Finally Find few Animals the Main Thing which made our Day was Tiger appearances at Day 1 we nearly Missed Tiger bcoz the Tiger Passed away at that time but Next day we Finally had a Chance to View and Really the day was Very Happy and wonderful and we had a Wonderful Bumpy Ride Experience in the bus...
so we Left Nagarhole @ Around 9:30 a.m and we Reached Mysore around 11:00 p.m and hence this was a Wonderful Travel Experience to Nagarhole Forest which is always a Remembering...
