Day Journey to Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens Mysore (Mysore zoo)

It was a Saturday I thought of Exploring zoo wherein recently I heard new Animals Like Anaconda has been Brought From Srilanka to Mysore zoo...its going to be 3 Hours walking inside the zoo around 5kilometer the zoo is Large to explore...it was around 10:30 a.m in Morning we Planned for Family Trip to the zoo we quickly Planned and Decided to Visit zoo... we Left Home at 11:30 a.m in Morning the Climate was Cloudy and Hot Summer Morning 1 Hour for Getting ready and I started car Engine and another Journey on Cards and Minutes Passed By Crossed Hunsur road Signal at 11:40 a.m and it's around 10km from My Location so left home and in few kilometers, at 12:00 p.m we Stopped at a Fuel Station to Fill the Fuel...and at 12:05 p.m afternoon we Moved on have to reach zoo at earliest by 1:00 p.m was going at Moderate Speed around 65km/h Traffic Conditions on Saturday was High Minutes passed by we reached City Center ... and From City Center its around 4km need to Cross Palace and then Take Right Near Police Parade Ground...Reached Police parade Ground at 12:30 p.m just a Few Meters away from Destination at 12:35 p.m reached Mysore zoo...the Climate was Hot Summer and lots of Crowds and Rush Pushing and Falling on each other I went to Park car no parking anywhere it was Full so thought of Parking in mall of Mysore which is safety and walkable distance... so I decided to Park in Mall of Mysore.. and then Returned to Zoo by walk and reached inside 12:45 p.m

Entrance Near Mysore zoo was Full of Crowds, Horse Tonga was Standing and sounds of Fluet Sellers and Popcorn Sellers ...

Entering Mysore zoo... Crossed Security Check area...

After Entering Inside the Mysore zoo on the Right Side was a Huge Fountain and Pond below it which was Pond and it was Surrounded By Gardens and on the LeftHand Side, we saw King Chamarajendra Statue... Near the zoo office...after crossing the Zoo Office we First Explored the Exhibits of HornBills which were two in the Exhibits making a Lots of Noise bcoz of People Sound it was shouting lots...

Birds Exhibits 

The Black and Yellow Beak Hornbills Looks Cutie and wonderful which was Near Exhibits were watching Flashes of Camera its eyes were Going Up and down was wonderful to Start and Next Exhibit we saw Emu the Bird which Legs or Hight almost if the Bird Stands Next to the human being it will be half the Height of Human...one Emu Bird was walking and another was Having Food ...

 wonderful Scenes we had and both the side we have exhibits Lets Explore one by one...and Moving 20 Meters Forward on the Right Side People Occupied and the Beautiful White Peacock was Dancing... which Draws everyone attention towards the Exhibit at First Peacock was sitting at the tree after around few Minutes it started dancing when white Peacock Dances it was Wonderful to watch...

The Beauty of White Peacock which Made us feel a peace Bird with Beautiful Look and was Screaming and other Peacock Fly and Sat outside the Exhibit we Asked the zoo Staffs its Flying but they told it a Friendly Peacock which will come back to its exhibits after Viewing the Duo Peacock we visited another exhibit which was for Crane which was eating Lunch it seems the beauty of its eating worms which was Interesting to Watch it Throw up and will eat worms these was also interesting to watch Crossed 300 Meters in zoo... Before Going to My experience Let me explain the Construction area for the zoo and its History...the Mysore Zoo was Built-in 1892 and its Constructed in 157acres it is One of the Popular zoos in the World...  

Continue on My Travel Experience after Crossing the first 300 Meters they were Few Exhibits for Small Green Parrots and few red parrots were placed in the same Exhibits and in another exhibit which is Next to Parrot we found a  Bunch of LoveBirds which were Placed in one Exhibit which was Colorful and which was Very Happy to see... finally we Crossed 500meters out of  5km in walk and in the Next Exhibits we saw a Pocket Monkey which is very small as the size of Pocket.... so it was a cutie and wonderful to watch and it was Sleeping on the Bark of Trees... which was wonderful to watch and this is the end of the Bird Exhibits.....and we Crossed around 500 Meters out of 5km zoo... the Next Year is an Interesting one which everyone Loves lots to see...

Lion, Tiger and Leopard, Jaguar Exhibits 

The Entrance was very attractive and Exhibits were Enclosed with unbreakable Glasses and which was at the Center of Mysore zoo... the Entrance and Place of these were Separate... in one full area... bcoz Large exhibits for Lion Tiger and Sealed with unbreakable Glass Area for Leopard and Jaguar its Newly-made Entrance and newly made exhibits with Unbreakable Glass and walking space is also made big ... the Infrastructure was wonderful si took a selfie Near the Location in Mysore zoo RO water is Kept every 500 Meters of the area  and it's well maintained by zoo authorities and don't throw Plastics anywhere in zoo it's Not Good bcoz zoo is Clean and plastic-free Green zoo.... so its a request and selfie stick is Strictly Prohibited inside the zoo ok talking about travel experience after having a wonderful selfie near the Infrastructure we explored one by one exhibit we saw jaguar Sleeping under a House Like Structure so I didn't Get Proper View they were two in the Exhibits and one was Behind the rock... and next we explored Leopard Exhibits we saw more than 2 in one exhibits...

 the View was Like This... the Leopards were Looking another side of the Exhibits some People were Shouting "hoy the Cute ears of Leopard was Twinkling twice and Didn't Care even though lots of Noise around Outside the Duo Leopards were in their own world and Didn't Bother about Noise they were Sitting on top of Stand and were watching Another side which was wonderful Scenes we Crossed Leopard and next we saw a Huge Exhibit for Tiger. 

There was a white Tiger in the Exhibit and Huge Royal Bengal Tiger which was walking from one end to another glass was in-between the duo was ferocious looking and was Fighting in roaring huge Roaring Sounds in both the sides and people were watching the both the Tigers the scenes was wonderful and first few Minutes there were walking from one end to another and minutes passed by they Started roaring on seeing from glass the time was around 1:35 p.m afternoon and next to that Exhibits we saw Lion Exhibits where there were 2 one was male and another is Female they were sleepy & they were on sleep and this ends the Lion tiger and Leopard section we covered almost 1km out of 5km of zoo...

u can see both the Tigers walking parallelly that's a Communications Between them they were Together earlier in the same exhibits it seems or maybe Challenges but the White Tiger is Female and Tiger is Male but very Ferocious Noises " I think they might have Challenged who is the Best for Few Minutes they were roaring at each other and after that, they walked but it was Wonderful to Watch " For me, it was the First Experience Seeing a White Tiger vs Tiger in the zoo...   

There are 5 Feet of Deep gap between the land and exhibit and human should not cross the exhibits the view of the tiger at the Exhibits which was walking around for some Minutes and watching him white Tiger on the left exhibits followed him like what Royal Bengal Tiger does and after watching each other the Duo started roaring Loudly and Noise was huge People Started Gathering near exhibits and were in Curiosity what the noise they were Fighting with words in Between was unbreakable Glass... this is the end of Tiger, Lion, and Leopard Section... walking in Few Meters we Found Indian Guar, Black Bug and Deer section...

Exhibits for Indian Guar(Bison), Deer & Blackbug ...

After covering 1km by walk we saw mainly Birds and Tigers and Leopards, Jaguar, Lion this are all the First Segments of the Mysore zoo... and the Second segments Consists of Indian Gaur(Bison), Deer & BlackBug...

The Exhibits for Bison was round and Huge there were Lots in Numbers with all the Noise around the Bison never bother and were on the world and the terrain was suiting the Bisons and there were Few Young Bison and somewhere Baby ones and were wonderful to watch there were around 10feet huge Gaps between the land and exhibits these were Built only for Bison and the design of the exhibits was round with House to calm for Bison and water were kept on Huge stone Tub ... 

 and Grasses were Spread near the Tree which was Food for Bison (Indian Guar) even in hot climate conditions some were having food & some were sitting Below Tree and I got a Few View of Bison sitting which was wonderful to watch it was very near the fence was huge in size and crossing left-hand side of Exhibits we saw a Single bison sitting lonely with eyes Closed we found a Brown Bison actually there are two types one is Black and another is Brown one which was left together in the same exhibits and the scene of single Bison sitting alone was wonderful 

it was looking at my camera Flashes and sitting at bushes and was in the shade for a few minutes I was watching  Bison it was around Few Meters and there was a Gap between 10 feet ...and next, we are moving towards deer Exhibits which is next to Bison exhibits there made same as Bison exhibits " One thing to Remember don't Feed zoo animals. there are zookeepers and authority they are Feeding Food at right time... 

so please don't Feed Animals or Don't Throw plastics anywhere in the zoo  Try to Keep the zoo Clean and exploring Deer exhibits which were few in Numbers and few were eating grass in the Front and we found the smallest Deer so cute the time was about 2:00 p.m in the afternoon for Restaurant we still need to Move another a kilometer after Crossing Elephants Exhibits ... there is Restaurant we are planning to Have Lunch... and then we saw Black Bug which was just a Few in Numbers and there was lots of People Gathering near was RO Water and even we thought thirsty so tasting RO water which was cool and suited the Climate filled our thirstiness and next we are Moving to Monkey and Chimpanzee sector... 

2nd sector of Mysore zoo Chimpanzee, Gorilla, African Elephants & Zebra, Black Bear, Hyna's Wilddog, Tapir  ...

We are at the 2nd Sector of Mysore zoo this Includes Chimpanzee, Gorilla, African Elephants so we covered almost Main animals Like Lion, Tiger, jaguar, and Birds in First Sector before Exploring Chimpanzee Exhibits the Infrastructure was wonderful Like Chimpanzee sitting at the Top of Tree which was wonderful for Visitors and it attracted Tourist .... wonderful to Start the 2nd Sector ... walking close to Chimpanzee Exhibits it was Huge in size recently there was a News in the paper that Chimpanzee died due to Age-related diseases... very sad to Hear just a week Before we planned our Journey to Mysore zoo...its Last exhibits were this 

the Exhibits were Made Specially for these Exhibits and the Toys and food Keeping area and many were Kept in exhibits which were wonderful to watch...the Exhibits were large in size and we saw edges if any evidence of Chimpanzee but we found small Monkeys playing in Chimpanzee toys...

which made us see the Fun we really miss the Chimpanzee, unfortunately, we walked towards African Elephants Exhibits the View of the Elephants Exhibits was wonderful we found Few elephants this Exhibits is Behind Bison But Double size than that of Bison Exhibits...

a Stone Tub was Placed and also Pipeline for elephant Bath were Kept and even the Food for the elephant was Kept in one place...these elephants were very Young elephants and were all together were eating Grass and wonderful to watch...the time was almost near to 3 were next heading towards zebra's Exhibits which is 300 Meters of a walk from Elephant's Location walking fast " Security scolding a guy for using selfie stick...before we reach zebra we found a Sleeping Tapir " which was kept in the First Exhibit... in the row next comes zebra's and Black Bear...

the Tapir was Sleeping and didn't even care or woke up for Noise I managed to click his head he is in very deep sleep it seems...and Crossing Tapir Exhibits and Moving towards Zebra's Exhibits they were only a few as Compared to My Previous Visits they were two zebra's and a baby which was Kept in one exhibit...

the zebra were eating Grass During the time we were watching and some were Playing which was wonderful to watch...the space for zebra was large and it was Privacy place for zebra's as Distance between the land and Fence is around 100meters gap and well-maintained terrain Conditions and they were Looking so Beautiful and even the baby zebra was so cute...wonderful and we crossed zebra's Exhibits and in next 100meters we found a black Bear Exhibits...they were Huge People gathering Near Bear Exhibits even we also Joined the Crowd and Bear Started Playing with a Bark of leaf  u can see their Reactions... one By one... ha ha ha lol 

This is actually Reaction two at First Bear Brought a Leaf from the Grass and Secondly, he Took it through His Mouth ...and was sleeping at Playing before I go to his second reaction the Bear was really Funny..... ha ha ha lol lol.... which was wonderful to watch...they were two Bears another bear was that side and this bear was playing at the Center of Ground...

The Second Reaction is Bear took a Support from Tree Branches and Started Playing again

Fun Started the Bear was enjoying his playtime even though people were Shouting loudly around the Exhibits... after taking the Support From Tree again Bear landed and Bounced on the Land bcoz of Belly which was even more Fun ha ha ha lol lol...

The Third Reaction was the Bear Started Playing By shaking up and down and Breaking the Barks of Trees and People were Cheering with Lots of Noise " Bear was Playing on its Own world and the Climate was also Hot he Kept on Playing for Minutes and then he Got Tired and walked away that was the Wonderful Time I had During My Travel... and Crossing the Center of zoo their is Fountain u can Stand in Steps and watch...it was an effect like Rain Drizzle which was wonderful we had IceCream Near the Location....wonderfully experienced .....and Moving through Hyna's Exhibits the Exhibits was Empty but Hyna was Sleeping said by Someone I couldn't Get a Clear View...and Moved to other Exhibits I found a small Bear which was Repeatedly walking another Funny movement was with Young Cutie Black Bear... 

The First Look of Black Bear I was calling him by Whistling but His Focus was in walking and which was So Cutie another Close Up Look was Wonderful ...

 Looking at His and the way he was walking was So cute everyone Loved him till he was walking and around 1 Minute he was Seriously on his walk and Suddenly " I think walking has made him tired or Stomach Upset he just sat Down in the Exhibits... even For Minutes I thought he was Seriously Walking But Suddenly he was Sitting Down...

 the view was wonderful and the time he was walking was Wonderful to watch... after walk, he was Digging a Pit some Noise was Strange was Observing what he was Doing he sat on the Pit was Pooing and after Few Minutes he Came Up and Again Started walking on the Platform this from Otherside Previous Pic was From Front Portions of the Exhibits... which was Wonderful and Some Scenes Were Funny to watch which made Visitors Happy and even I got entertained and Time was around 2:50 P.m I was Hungry after Continous walk and Blogging I didn't Feel any hunger so My concentration was on work Covered 2km of zoo... Still need to Cover 3km Distance and Lot more to see... walking past the Exhibits we Crossed the 500 Meters had RO Water which was Fresh and Filled the Bottle and next 500 Meters I could See the Restaurant and zoo Shops..... Entering 3 Segments of Mysore zoo...

3rd Segment of Mysore zoo Consist of Restaurant's Zoo Shop and Place to Rest & Includes Exhibits for Rhino, Hippopotamus, Snake, Saltwater Crocodile, Ducks, Tortoise and Giraffe at Final...

Entering Near to Restaurant the Rush was High waited near zoo Shops and we had Some IceCreams at Start and For Food the Restaurant was Filled and also Our Family everyone who was Behind was Called and they were Bit Slow by Joining us we called them Via Phone and they took to reach around 3:15 p.m the Rush in the Restaurant was Becoming Less so we had Food Like Meals and Rooti, ButterNaan, Poori which was Wonderful in the Restaurant in the Zoo...  

Having Lunch with Meals and Roti they gave papad ButterMilk, Sambar, Sabji, and sweet Like KesariBath and Few Vegetables which was Wonderful Lunch at zoo Restaurant...and after Having Lunch the time was around 3:45 p.m we had Ice Creams and we Started to Continue our Walk after everyone has Finished.... moving towards Rhino Exhibits ...300 Meters to Reach... Reached Near the Rhino exhibits the Time was around 3:50 p.m the View near the Rhino Exhibits was Like this

There were only two Rhinos in the Exhibits and was Very Dry and Ruff Skinned but the Exhibits were large and wonderful Spaces for Rhino to live Freely and well Maintained By Zoo Authority...

few Minutes passed by Rhino started running from one end to another and Jumped into a Mud Pit which made rhino cool During hot Climate Conditions " It Jumped into Huge Mud Pit and it came running around Ground Coming Fast and Jumping into a Huge Mud Pit and God sake Mud didn't spray at us... ha ha ha lol Final Rhino Mission Established and After Getting up from Mud-Pit the Rhino was full of Mud and it Got fed up and moved up from Pit which was Really Funny to watch...and Walking on the Opposite Side we saw Hippopotamus Exhibits... 

where there was Lot Hippopotamus Drying after swimming in the water they were Standing in the Exhibits...and they were in their own world and we Moved to Our Reptails Exhibits 500 Meters... and Separate Section for that walking by we Crossed some Empty Exhibits and there was nothing Inside the Exhibits...400Meters to reach the Reptails Sections were are Heading near the Section we saw a Peacock fly from one end to another... Huge Glasses for all The Sections this Includes Snakes Like King Cobra, Python, Green Anaconda,  Rat Snakes, and Green Snakes... the Key Attractions is Green Anaconda which is Kept in Separate Exhibits Specially made for Green Anaconda and its Very and Highly Protected Glass and well spacious for anaconda there were only 2 in the Exhibits...its Highly dangerous Snakes which can even Swallow human the Exhibits are well maintained even if snakes Grows Big also No issues can Happen the Green Anaconda was in Sleep it seems I have got with Flash.....

the Green Anaconda was Small and was Sleeping Surrounded by Stone I managed a Click with Flash or Else without Flash, it was not Clear...

 I Tried another Click and somehow I got a Few Clicks which I could manage 

Few Shots the Snake was Sleeping on the Tree even lots of Noise the Snake was Sleeping on the tree and Next Moving on to another exhibit we found a python which was active Moving Slowly inside the Glass the View was Like this it's having a Huge Body and was Looking the Huge size Monster was moving Slowly and which made us the View better...

we Observed few Rat Snakes and King Cobra and Green Snakes in the Next Exhibits almost all of them were in moving Slowly the Rat snake killed a rat which was Given as a Meal in the Exhibits for Snakes people were scared how fast a Snake can catch a Mouse within Fraction of Seconds it took Mouse which was very Disturbing... the main attraction is anaconda & Python which are Big and have Stripes which also attracted the Visitors in the zoo... and next, we are heading towards the Crocodile's Exhibits.. which was made with painting and attractive for the visitors in the zoo at First we need to walk on the Bridge Below is Crocodile which is Very Close to the Bridge Edge be careful with small Children bcoz if u stand near Edges Chances of Getting attacked is more...walking on the Bridge we saw our First Crocodile The Saltwater Crocodile on the Left the View was Like this...

Which was Huge in Size was moving and Looking at the size which was Huge and scary the Tail of the Crocodile was Huge and Moving on Crossed the Saltwater Crocodile the Colour was Greyish and SunLight falling at Him which Made him warm after swimming in the water after Moving from Saltwater Crocodile we saw Black Crocodile on the Right Side which was Sleeping in the Exhibits 

View of the Black Crocodile which was Sleeping in Dirt Terrain it was Huge in size with Covered Exhibits the Reason for this was it Could Fly around 6feet so it was Keep in Huge Fences and Crossed the Exhibits we Found the Alligators in next Exhibits but Before going to Alligators Exhibits we Need to How Dangerous is Black Crocodile which is a man Eaters this Crocodile nearly attacks anyone inland and it becomes more powerful in water and escaping from this Crocodile is Very Difficult it's Height & Weight and quick attacks with a tail so should be careful with this 

The Alligators were 2 in the Exhibits with Sharp Mouth one was Moving Towards the water and Another Kept his Mouth Open which was Wonderful to watch and that's it Reptails Section Ends and Next Exhibits Consist of Cranes & Duck Completed around 4km out of 5km one kilometer consists of Lizards Tortoise and Giraffe, moving towards the Duck Section Before that on the Crocodile Exhibits we saw Cranes, on the Left Hand Side and explored the Ducks Exhibits...

we saw Black Ducks swimming in Pond and we need to Carefully walk-in Bridge which was wonderful Scenes to watch...

 and Crossing the Duck exhibits and we Moved towards Lizards & Tortoise Exhibits which was Kept Separate in Tortoise Exhibits had two types of Tortoise one is Normal and another one is a StartType Tortoise the Star Type Tortoise which was wonderful to Look and there were Star Marks on the Back of Tortoise but very Small and was wonderful to watch and Some Small Tortoise was Swimming in the water which was wonderful to watch...and Going to our Next Exhibits the Lizards one where were saw three Lizards in One Exhibit which were Huge in size Like that of Crocodile...we had coved around 4.9 Km out of 5 Kilometers the Final Exhibits in the zoo is Giraffe which is near to Exit and Walking fast as we Could Time was around 17:05 pm zoo Closes at  17:30 pm Crossed zoo Vehicles and Reaching Giraffe Exhibits which was wonderful to Watch...

The Close Up Click of Giraffe some People were Trying to Feed Food for Giraffe but the zoo authority Shouted on them the Giraffe was so Cute and were Running here and there the Exhibits was Spacious for Giraffe with Green Grass Land Terrain and House for Shelter and the Fence were made to such Heights so it doesn't Climb up or Jump...

we had been watching the Giraffe Playing for Few Minutes which was wonderful to watch...lots of Sounds Between the two Giraffe which made us Laugh and Moving towards the Exit...  the zoo was wonderful and mind a refreshing place to Visit with Your Family...the time I Visited was Summer the Tickets Costs on Saturday and Sunday it's 100 per adult and for Children Below 5 Years it's Free and on Monday to Friday, the Tickets Costs is 80 Per Adult for Camera its Separate cost it maybe around 25 for still cameras and we are at the gate of the zoo where the Crowd was heavy...am walking towards the mall to get my car which I parked Bcoz Parking was full in zoo During weekends... went and gave the card to mall authority and started the car engine and moved to the zoo... picked up my family and the was around 17:45 p.m I left the zoo and crossed the city where the Traffic Conditions was Moderate we reached home around 18:25 p.m and that's it was an amazing Journey and very Memorable " The way the Bear was Playing with the Bark of Leaf and Another Bear  walking which was wonderful to watch and also the two Tiger Faceoff eachother with huge roaring sounds which made more Intresting and also Giraffe Playing which made our Trip Most Memorable ....hope it was an amazing and Intresting Journey with My Family so see u all in another Travel Experience .....Until then Baye....
