RANGANATHITTU BIRD SANCTUARY
it was a Wonderful sunny Sunday Morning with hot Climate Conditions we have Decided to Visit Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary which is around 18km From Mysore city there are two Routes one is From Hebbal Industrial Area and another Route is from KRS Main Road where u have to take a pass through Pump House and another Route is Through Mysore-Banglore Highway from which we have to Palhalli Village we took the First Route and Started our Journey @ 11:30 am in the Morning we took " Via KRS Road which will Pass through Pump House & Palhalli Village the Traffic Conditions on the KRS Road was Moderate and wonderful Sunny Morning & Hot Climate to Start our Journey we Crossed the Ring Road and Few Minutes passed by we Crossed Pumphouse " we need to move towards the Right-hand Side and pass through Palhalli Village the Beauty of the Farm Land Near Palhalli Village was Greeny and wonderful to watch " the road was bit ok should be Developed " there were Lots of potholes in some part of road we had to Move Slow " the road is a single side road we were Moving Bit slowly and Minutes passed by we have to take left Side for the Bird Sanctuary before entering the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary we Could see a Kaveri River Canal and Center was a Beautiful Shivan Statue

Made with Beautiful Birds Design and the Top one is Made with Tree and two Pillars and Bird Models were Kept on top which attracts the Visitors wonderful to watch...we have to Move another 1 Kilometer From the Entrance to Checkpost the roads are bit Curve so another 900 meters to Bird Sanctuary Minutes passed we reached near the Checkpost 
after the Entry Procedure, we Moved towards the Parking Slot which is Sight Inside the Bird Sanctuary and new Parking is under Construction will be completed soon " Meantime we have to Park inside another Slot Made for Parking Four Wheelers which is Spacious we Parked our Vehicles and should walk for 300 Meters at the Start we can DR. Salim Ali Information Center on the Right Side, Contains Details of Birds in Bird Sanctuary, Maps of Raganathittu Model were made, Information about Birds was Described in Details which was an Interesting to Start the Bird Sanctuary...
The Close Up View From the Boat Without Shaking we Could up to this Because they are Bit Far away and we are taking pic by Keeping Silence and on the Left Side " we saw Crocodile Moving underwater which was making bit Scary ... we Stopped and Observed Birds there were Few the Season is on December as per official said the Nesting Seasons and the time when 170+Different Types of Bird can be Found and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is Largest Bird Sanctuary in Karnataka and there are also Variety of Flora and Fauna, and also it Includes "Pure water Crocodile " and also Few Lizards, Found in the Surrounding area of the Islands Locating in the Kaveri River... and Boating activities will not be there during rainy season Because due to Flood...
Climbing the tower the wind Breezing @ Very High Speed the view from the small tower and we Could see the Left Side of the Island in the River...and Don't Take Selfie in the Tower its very Risk and stay safe While Climbing the tower the Slope and Steps are Very Small...
Standing on the Hanging Bridge was a Wonderful Experience " Below was actually water will be filled if Floods Happens During Rainy Seasons the Bridge has two ways " One for Entry and another For Exit and am Standing towards the Exit so Going Through Hanging Bridge and exploring Plantations Gardens " Surrounding were wonderful Trees and The Area Expand was Taking Place on the other side... and wonderful to walk towards Plantations area we Could See Different Types of Tree...
at the start of the Garden, we Could see a Beautiful Tree with Wonderful Red Fruit amazing to Start...we were Searching for Jamun Tree on the way " we Found the RedBerry Tree which was Looking wonderful and Interesting Fruit and which was at the Center of the Garden and Next we are Searching For Jamun Tree which was on the Right Opposite to this Tree... 
The Jamun Tree Found in the Few Meters away From Sign Board and even a few other trees were Difficult to Identify where it was located in the Garden and the signs Board Need to be Maintained by the Officials wonderful Gardens... Greenery all around wonderful to watch and we saw a Bird Leg Structure Tree in the Gardens which was wonderful too...
the same route we left the Bird Sanctuary at 4:10 pm in the Evening and while Returning we saw wonderful Green Farm Land on the Left near Palhalli Village and the Road was Cracked and we came bit slow Due to that " took Ring Road and Reached home @ 4:45 pm hence it was another amazing Journey in my Backpack and see u all in another Travel Experience of My Until then Baye Baye...
The Procedure of Temperature Check & Hand Sanitizer is Kept Before Entering Checkpost the Forest Officials will Check everything and will allow after Procedures are Complete " For Time Being senior Citizens & Children Below 5 Years are Not allowed the Entry Ticket for Bird Sanctuary for an adult it costs around rupees 50 per head and for Children 25 and for Boating u need to Collect inside near Boating area...
The Crocodile Statue which was made with Mouth open so funny which was made Realstics look and wonderful and next we saw a Huge pond of Stored water and a Peepal Tree at the Start the Path to boating and Watch Tower and Plantations so we are Moving towards the boating Area the time for Boating was about to Get over so we are Moving towards the Ticket Counter of the Boating area before Going through the Boating place we saw a Rock Gardens on the Left which was made with Stone the View of the Rock Gardens was wonderful to watch...
There was no Proper Sign Board for the Rock Gardens " we Have found with the Help of Dr.Salim Ali information Center Maps & it was Given in Details...so I think Sign Board should be Properly Placed Near the Rock Garden and next walking towards the Boating area we have to take Ticket for Boating in the Counter which is 70 Rupees per Head and its a 20minutes Boating in the Kaveri River.
Before Going to the Boating area we Found a Beautiful Circle which was Designed with Birds Sitting to which was so wonderful to structure at the Center of the path " the Straight one goes towards " Hanging Bridge and Plantations Gardens and the Right one Goes to the Boating area
The Life Jackets are sanitized after Every Ride and there is a hand Sanitizer before Ride " Make sure u Follow Social Distance at the place while Moving in Queue in Boating the Setting was Between a Gap that is From one middle to another and only a Few were allowed to Sit in the Boat with one official bowing the Boat "
The Boating Ride Started " and we are Moving " shaking scared feeling Four Side river Flowing and moving bit slower and Moving in one Direction " we saw Few Crocodile were Moving on the rivers and next while Bowing " we saw two to Three Crocodile Sleeping in the rock which was wonderful and Thrilling very scary after Seeing their size
At the First Rock we saw a Huge Crocodile Sleeping on the rock and its tail was in the River it was Observing our its eyes were Opening and Closing " the Boat was Moving Bit Closer to the rock the view was Like this " the Point to Note is the water had a Deadly Fragrance of Birds on the River which was Coming while Boating and Officials who Take us For ride should have Explained more about the Bird Sanctuary " so which would have Been More Interesting" and Moving on in the same Direction we Found another Pair of Crocodile Sleeping on the rock which was wonderful to watch the Silence in Boat " Completely and the Official took Near Crocodile we Had taken Some pics at Close up...
Looking at their Size " they were Huge and they were Sleeping and now we are Moving towards the Left Direction of the River where the Birds are lots in Numbers " bowing towards the Direction we Could See another Individual Crocodile Sleeping on Rock ... and Some were Moving on the River there are Nearly 100+Crocodile in the River " as per Forest authority was explaining and River Dept is 40 Feet...
the Boat was Shaking while Taking Pics of Crocodile at the Middle of River it was a Thrilling Experience and next Moving on after 5 Minutes " we saw another Crocodile Resting in the Stone and it was the one which was observing and it Suddenly Opened its Mouth for Few Seconds " but we Crossed the Place in Minutes...
and we Stopped Near the Birds the Beauty of the Bird Sitting on the tree which was Wonderful to watch there were Only a Few Birds in the Sanctuary there are a Lots of Birds " the Best Seasons to Visit the Bird Sanctuary is November-December the List of Birds in the sanctuary there are Morethan 170+ Birds in the sanctuary the Birds the Important of Bird Sanctuary was Shown in the Board but the Best Season to Come is November to December...
Like Painted Stork, Asian Openbill stork, Black-headed ibis, lesser whistling Duck, Indian Shag, egret and Heron, and many more during our Visit we Found only Few which were in the sanctuary... and some were Flying...
There were some Deadly Fragrances smell in the River While Boating "the Crocodile might have attacked Bird "which remains smells were in the River... and Moving on towards another Island where we saw a few Egret which was on the tree we maintained a Complete Silence While Going Near Birds " or Else Bird will Fly away so the Official told us to Maintain Complete Silence...the View was Bit Difficult to see but Somehow We Managed the View

Moving on back to the Boating area " we also saw Few Cranes and Black-headed ibis sitting on tree of the Islands on the River Kaveri "the Offical taking Boat near the Boating area the 20minutes "Boating was a wonderful and Scary Experience in the River Kaveri it was not Much Clear From this View but they were Large in Numbers. wonderful to watch Coming Back to Boating Area " after Boating is Complete the Life Jackets is Sanitized and even we sanitized ourself and Next Moving towards the small watchtower to see the view of the Kaveri River the View tower was on the right side Climbing the tower The View from small watchtower was wonderful

The Points that Need to be Improved near the Plantations are should Maintain Proper Board near every Tree and Plants the Sign Board is Somewhere and Tree is Somewhere so it needs to be Notified and should be Maintained...
The Jamun Tree Found in the Few Meters away From Sign Board and even a few other trees were Difficult to Identify where it was located in the Garden and the signs Board Need to be Maintained by the Officials wonderful Gardens... The Structure of the Bird Leg was made which was wonderful to watch " it was Realistic and wonderful and there was a Sign Board " which was Showing Different Types of Bird Leg 
There were Lots of Dry Leafs in the Gardens and also wonderful Seating arrangements were made in the Garden which was Clean and well maintained and a wonderful to Place to Spent time with family...
I saw an Indian Butter tree which was Next to the Sign Board which was a Small one ... which was on the other side of the Garden...
After Exploring the Gardens we Moved towards the Largest watchtower which is on the Entrance side Behind walking towards the Largest Watchtower which is Double the Size of the Small Watch Tower the watchtower has a tomb place " where Visitors can Rest and Climbing the " Largest watchtower " it very tall and Double the Small watchtower...
The Entry Point of the watchtower was wonderful with the Home Structure Building for Visitors to sit and Enjoy the View of the Island... and Climbing up it's Really hard and Risky to Climb the Largest watch Tower there are more Steps and Very Steap " But I got up Climbed and Got the View From the top the three Islands were Birds are the View From the top...
Wonderful View From the Top of Large Watchtower " the Beautiful Nature with wonderful Birds Flying around " we can see nearly so many Birds sitting on a tree and the Beautiful Kaveri River wonderful to watch " and in the watchtower, the Wind is Blowing " the feel with wonderful View and surrounding nature wonderful Experience we experienced from watchtower... the View is from Left side " Birds Sound and even the Sound of the wind " it was wonderful to experience and next seeing the other side of the Bird Sanctuary the View was wonderful the other side of the island which was wonderful to watch
The Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is allocated with 40acres of land and it also called Pakshi Kashi in Kannada... and it is the Largest Bird Sanctuary in Karnataka Located around 17km from Mysore City and From Banglore, its 130km wonderful Place and new Parking Space is Under Construction... and Getting Down from the watchtower watching Steps " while Getting down "so after we got down we walked towards Dr.Salim Ali Information Center which is at the Entrance of the Bird Sanctuary after Entering the Information Center at the Start we saw " questions and answers " which were wonderful to start there were Only Simple questions asked like " Largest Forest in South? and how may Tiger Populations in Karnataka were Asked so it was Multiple Choice Questions and when the answer is Right the Green Light would appear and when the answer is Wrong the Red Light will appear it was a bit Funny and also wonderful Knowledgeable and Next we saw Indian map " Indicating Bird at Different Sanctuary in the Country was Marked and Located and Next we saw Information about Flora and Fauna in Details which was In the Board...
and next, we Saw the Rangathittu Bird Sanctuary Structure which was wonderful to watch with Cranes and the Structured Behind the wall Contains the Scenic Beauty of the Bird Sanctuary and on the Right Side," we Could see Crocodile Structure on the Same Scenic Structure...
The Beauty of the Crocodile opened its Mouth on the rock " which was amazing to watch and the Entire Bird Sanctuary was Designed and Structured Wonderful to watch...
and Next, we saw "the Map Structure of the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary the 40acres of Land was Illustrated and was wonderful to watch the Entire Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary the Islands that were Illustrated were Wonderful to Watch, and Even the areas and Watch Tower was Clearly Mentioned and even the Plantations Gardens and Next to that was the Details and Information about Birds in the Bird Sanctuary and also the Information about ornithologist Dr. Salim Ali and the Information Center was very Useful and wonderful to know about its history and we are Returning to the Parking of the Bird Sanctuary the time was around 4pm in the evening we had a wonderful time in the Bird Sanctuary and we are Making Our Return to Home ...
